Poland defeated Slovenia 3-2 on Friday evening during the second match of the 23rd Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial at Tauron Arena in Krakow. The Polish team won the five-set match with set scores of 26:24, 21:25, 25:19, 23:25, and 15:11 in the tie-break.
Earlier in the day, France defeated the United States 3-0 in the opening fixture. The tournament continues on Saturday with France playing Slovenia at 14:00, followed by Poland facing the United States at 17:00. The competition runs through Sunday and serves as one of the final preparation tests ahead of the European Championship in September.
