Ten-man Pogoń Szczecin hold Zagłębie Lubin to 0-0 draw after first-half dismissal

KGHM Zagłębie Lubin and Pogoń Szczecin played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday evening, with the visiting side forced to navigate more than an hour with ten players. Both teams entered the Ekstraklasa fixture tied on seven points from their opening four matches of the campaign. Pogoń coach Oscar Garcia altered his starting lineup by introducing Husein Ali, Darko Churlinov, Kellyn Acosta, and Filip Čuić, looking to build on an unbeaten run. The Canadian businessman relocated to the disabled supporters' section in front of the press tribune, where he repeatedly approached the perimeter barrier to shout at the fourth official over refereeing decisions. Haditaghi also engaged in a verbal altercation with a stadium steward who told him that he was not permitted to stay in that section.

Zagłębie failed to capitalize on the man advantage through the closing minutes as Pogoń brought on midfielder Fredrik Ulvestad to secure defensive stability. The final whistle confirmed a second consecutive scoreless draw for Zagłębie and extended Pogoń's unbeaten sequence in the league.
