Podkarpackie opens second tourist voucher round offering 300 PLN hotel subsidies
Applications for the 300 PLN Podkarpackie Tourist Voucher launch at 12:00 on 6 October 2026, offering accommodation discounts for two-night stays across the region.
Terms and application requirements
The second round of registration for the Podkarpackie Tourist Voucher opens at 12:00 on 6 October 2026 through the dedicated portal czek.podkarpackie.travel. Adult Polish citizens can apply for a 300 PLN subsidy toward accommodation costs in participating regional facilities. To qualify, beneficiaries must book a stay encompassing at least two consecutive nights at an accommodation facility registered in the program database. Vouchers issued during this intake are valid for stays taking place from 7 October through 2 November 2026. The distribution operates strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, allocating funding only to users who complete and submit their electronic forms before the second-round pool is exhausted. Applicants must consult the official participating venue list and program regulations before making reservations.

First round demand and system overload
The opening intake on 14 September 2026 demonstrated heavy regional interest, with users claiming all 6,630 available vouchers in roughly one hour. The sudden influx of traffic overburdened server infrastructure, creating substantial queues across application interfaces and database layers. Many prospective applicants encountered significant delays loading individual form pages or failed to receive necessary SMS authentication codes. Wioletta Rejman, president of the Podkarpackie Regional Tourist Organization, stated that the portal sustained severe strain rather than a total breakdown.
From a technical point of view, the system did not completely collapse, but experienced maximum overload.
Technical audits conducted by the system vendor confirmed that submissions were logged in exact chronological sequence. Vouchers were distributed automatically by the software without manual intervention, priority lists, or preferential treatment for any individual users.
Resubmission rules and technical preparations
Users who began filing in September but failed to complete their applications will not receive automatic vouchers in the second round. The Podkarpackie Regional Tourist Organization explained that incomplete applications were discarded from system storage rather than saved as drafts. Consequently, previously unsuccessful applicants must repeat the entire electronic submission process from the beginning. Ahead of the October round, the organization instructed its technical contractor to test and prepare the platform, focusing on critical bottleneck stages and SMS code verification systems. While the agency planned to inform applicants about system adjustments, the latest announcements did not outline the exact technical alterations implemented.
Funding structure and future intake dates
The Podkarpackie Tourist Voucher program operates with a total budget of 3 million PLN to support regional lodging providers and stimulate autumn travel outside the peak summer period. Funding is equally divided between two public entities, with the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Podkarpackie Voivodeship each providing half of the total budget. Program eligibility originally targeted seniors aged 65 and over alongside holders of the Large Family Card. Additional regional government co-financing subsequently broadened the initiative to include all adult Polish citizens. Following the conclusion of the second round in early November, organizers plan to open a third intake of vouchers on 3 November 2026.
