Fire breaks out
A fire erupted at midday on 5 July 2026 in an industrial area of Oranienburg, in the Oberhavel district. A production building is in flames, according to the police situation service. The fire brigade is on site, and access to the industrial area via the B96 road is being kept clear for emergency vehicles.

The Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance issued a hazard alert, warning of smoke development from the extensive fire.
