The report does not give the exact stretch of motorway, the cause of the collision or the condition of the car's occupants.

Morning jams across central Athens
Heavy traffic built across central Athens from early on 13 October. On Kifisos Avenue, a truck collided with a car in the middle lane of the downhill direction. SKAI reported a tailback of 9 km, NewsIT reported 12 km and NEWS 24/7 reported about 10 km, so the figures ranged from 9 km to 12 km depending on the report. NEWS 24/7 said the queue ran from the height of Nea Filadelfeia to Rentis, and it also described difficult conditions on the uphill lane near Skaramangas. SKAI attributed the heavier traffic partly to weather conditions.
Delays on the Attiki Odos
On the Attiki Odos, NEWS 24/7 and NewsIT reported delays of more than 30 minutes on the airport-bound carriageway between the Fyli junction and the Kifisias junction. NewsIT, citing a traffic update posted on social media, gave 5 to 10 minutes toward the Lamia exit, 15 to 20 minutes from the Marathonas junction to Kifisias on the Elefsina-bound side, and 20 to 25 minutes on the Ymittos ring road. A separate report from Nautemporiki described a serious crash on the Elefsina-bound side after the Kifisias exit, with the left lanes closed and delays of 20 to 25 minutes between the Plakentias and Kifisias junctions. That report does not say whether it concerns the same incident as the fatal motorcycle crash.
Earlier collision on 12 October
A car and a motorcycle collided on Kifisos at the height of the Attiki Odos exit toward Piraeus on Monday 12 October. NewsIT reported delays in the direction of Piraeus at the time. The report said it was not yet known whether anyone had been injured. The 13 October crash on the Attiki Odos is a separate incident reported in the sources.
What remains unclear
None of the seven reports gives the cause of the Attiki Odos collision or the identity of the rider who died. The sources also differ on the length of the Kifisos queue, with the figures ranging from 9 km to 12 km across the reports published on the morning of 13 October. The traffic delays were measured at different moments, so they should be read as conditions at the time of each report rather than as the final state of the roads.
