Police officer stabs wife to death in Drama home, then commits suicide

Incident discovered by child

On the afternoon of Monday, 15 June 2026, a child in the city of Drama, northern Greece, called the police immediate action centre after finding their mother lying injured in the basement of the family home. Responding officers arrived at the address and found a 40-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.
