Speaking in a lighter tone, the Portuguese manager addressed journalists directly about the media schedule.

Mourinho also made unprompted remarks regarding refereeing decisions. Following a 1-0 defeat against Real Betis at La Cartuja, he asked why a penalty taken by Kylian Mbappé was not retaken during his pre-match press conference ahead of Madrid's Champions League debut against Inter.
Why was Mbappé's penalty not retaken? Why did they not call the referee to review it on the monitor? It is a bit strange.
Before leaving for training, Mourinho noted that reporters did not ask him about penalties awarded to Barcelona and Atlético Madrid during the recent league matchday.
