In brief
Gonçalo Ramos left the AC Milan session on Wednesday, 21 October, with a problem in his left calf and did not travel to Bournemouth.
Scans are scheduled for Thursday, 22 October. A clear result could return him for Udinese on Sunday, 25 October, while a soleus strain would keep him out for several weeks and rule out the Inter derby on 31 October.
Chukwueze also stopped in training, and Il Messaggero reports that Saelemaekers and Gabbia are unavailable, with Camarda expected to lead the attack in the Europa League.

Training injury on Wednesday
Gonçalo Ramos left the AC Milan training session on Wednesday, 21 October, after a problem in his left calf appeared during the morning session at Milanello. He left before the session ended and did not travel with the squad to Bournemouth, staying in Milan instead. Italian reports describe a strain of the soleus in the left calf, while SAPO, citing Gianluca Di Marzio, describes a muscle overload in the calf. Either way, the Portuguese forward is ruled out of the Europa League match, and the club's medical staff is waiting for the scan results before judging how serious the problem is.
Scans and the Inter derby
The scans are scheduled for Thursday, 22 October, and will set the length of his absence. If the tests find no lesion, he could return for the Serie A match against Udinese on Sunday, 25 October, according to SAPO and Il Messaggero. A strain of the soleus, by contrast, would keep him out for several weeks and rule him out of the derby against Inter on 31 October, Il Messaggero reports. Adnkronos adds that Amorim hopes to have him in the squad for the Serie A match against Bologna at the Dall'Ara, so that he could start the derby from the first minute.
Europa League and the wider infirmary
Milan face Bournemouth on Thursday, 22 October, with kickoff from 20:00 according to SAPO, and Camarda is expected to lead the attack in Europe. Ramos is not the only absentee. Adnkronos reports that Chukwueze also stopped in training and was due for tests later on Wednesday to establish his recovery time. Il Messaggero adds that Saelemaekers and Gabbia are also unavailable, leaving the infirmary crowded. SAPO credits Ramos with three goals and one assist in nine games for Milan this season, and says he was prominent during the international break.
Options for Udinese
Ruben Amorim is weighing alternatives for the Serie A match in Udine, Il Messaggero reports. If Ramos cannot play, Pulisic could be moved into a false nine role. The recent form of the striker is also disputed in the sources: SAPO counts two goals in his last two matches, the wins over Red Bull Salzburg (4-0) and Atalanta (3-2), while Il Messaggero counts three goals in his last two outings. The scan results on Thursday will decide whether Milan needs any of these changes before the weekend.
