Results day
On 8 July 2026 at 8:30 am, the Central Examination Commission (CKE) released individual matura results for approximately 344,000 graduates who completed secondary school in the 2025/2026 academic year. Scores can be checked online through the Integrated User Interface (ZIU) at ziu.gov.pl, using a login and password provided earlier by school directors. Access is also possible via a trusted profile (Profil Zaufany), e-ID, or electronic banking. Physical certificates and annexes are available for collection at schools the same day, with ID required for pickup.
Exam structure and pass requirements
The matura session ran from 4 May to 30 May 2026. Every candidate had to sit three written exams at basic level (Polish, mathematics, and a modern foreign language), two oral exams (Polish and a foreign language), and at least one written exam at extended level. Graduates from minority-language schools additionally took written and oral exams in their native language. To obtain the maturity certificate, a minimum of 30% of points was required on each mandatory basic-level exam. Extended-level subjects have no pass threshold but are decisive for university admissions.

The written retake is scheduled for 24 August, and the oral retake (Polish, minority languages, modern foreign languages) for 25 August. Retake results will be announced on 11 September, both online in ZIU and on paper at schools. Those who failed two or more mandatory subjects must retake the entire matura in the next session, in May 2027.
