Police manhunt for 65-year-old husband after woman found dead in Borków home
A 64-year-old woman was found dead in her home in Borków, near Kielce, on Friday afternoon. Police suspect foul play and are searching for her 65-year-old husband, who disappeared and may have been the last person to see her alive.

Police in Kielce received a call on Friday afternoon, 3 July, reporting a woman not showing signs of life in a house in Borków, a village about 15 km from the city. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene, but a doctor pronounced the 64-year-old dead. The home was immediately secured for a forensic examination.
In the afternoon hours, the duty officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Kielce received a report that a woman showing no signs of life was in one of the houses in Borków.
Investigation
Investigators working under a prosecutor quickly ruled out natural causes. Preliminary findings suggest a third party may have been involved in the woman's death. Technicians spent hours collecting evidence inside the house. Police noted that there had been no prior interventions at the address and the family was not covered by the "Blue Card" domestic violence procedure.
Under the supervision of the prosecutor, activities are being carried out to clarify all circumstances of this incident. Preliminary findings indicate that someone may have contributed to the woman's death.
Manhunt
The focus shifted to the woman's 65-year-old husband, who vanished. He is believed to have been the last person in contact with her. A large-scale search is underway, concentrating on the Krakowska Street area in Kielce, near the Białogon and Słowik districts. Officers from prevention and criminal units, riot police, dog handlers, and drones are combing wooded areas and checking exit routes.
Currently, officers are working to determine the whereabouts of the 65-year-old husband of the deceased, who may have been the last person to have contact with the woman before her death.
Suspect description
The missing man is about 175 cm tall, stocky, with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a brown V-neck sweater and brown trousers rolled up at the bottom. Police say he is likely barefoot, without shoes or socks, and his right hand may be swollen. Authorities have not released his photo, citing the needs of the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who saw the man, has dashcam footage, or knows his whereabouts to call the emergency number 112 or a dedicated line at 789 759 706. Residents have been urged to remain cautious but calm as the search continues.
