The 56-year-old manager, who previously coached Barcelona and the Spanish national team, received a loud ovation from home supporters inside the stadium as the news was delivered. Ecuadorian central defender Willian Pacho, Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo, and Parisian academy graduate Senny Mayulu also signed extensions through to 2031.
