Prize pool adjustments and mechanics
The jackpot grew over several weeks to reach nearly 45 million PLN following regulatory and pricing changes introduced on 18 August 2026. The price of a standard single Lotto bet increased to 5 PLN on that date, which was the first price rise for the game since 2009. Alongside the revised entry cost, operator Totalizator Sportowy increased the guaranteed base jackpot for matching six numbers from 2 million PLN to 3 million PLN. Totalizator Sportowy also increased the first-tier share of the total prize payout pool from 44% to 49%. In the standard game, participants choose six numbers out of 49 possible options, entering tickets either manually with selected numbers or through an automated quick-pick system.
Companion drawings and countrywide benchmarks
The Saturday companion draw for Lotto Plus produced the numbers 1, 14, 17, 24, 46, and 49. No ticket matched all six numbers for the fixed 1,000,000 PLN prize, but 73 players matched five numbers to collect 3,500 PLN each. Lotto Plus allows participants to enter the same six numbers into an extra drawing for an additional fee of 1 PLN, offering guaranteed fixed prizes without rollover accumulations. The highest Lotto Plus prize was recorded on 9 June 2026 in Pieszyce. While the 44.8 million PLN prize established a new high for the domestic Lotto game, the largest single gambling payout in Poland across all formats remains the 213,584,986 PLN Eurojackpot win from August 2022 in Krotoszyn county.
