Liverpool have triggered the €40million (£34.6m) release clause of Spain winger Victor Munoz, beating Newcastle United to the Osasuna forward. Medical staff are already in Atlanta to conduct his medical at the World Cup camp, making him first signing under new head coach Andoni Iraola.

Munoz is a 22-year-old left winger known for his pace, skill, and direct running.
