Tour conclusion in Madrid
Spanish singer-songwriter Leiva concluded his Gigante tour on Wednesday evening at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, performing for two hours before a sold-out crowd. Ticket attendance at the venue stood between 16,000 and 17,000 spectators, depending on venue tallies, with entry passes selling out almost a year in advance. Accompanied by his backing group, the Leiband, the Alameda de Osuna native performed despite physical setbacks within the ensemble, specifically thanking his brother Juancho, guitarist for Sidecars, who played throughout the concert with a fractured knee. During an early break between songs, Leiva addressed the gathering to place the final night into perspective.
It is the last concert of the tour; it has been super unexpected because of the volume and everything good that happened. We will remember it forever, but I would like that feeling of nostalgia not to rule everything today, that a tour is not ending, but rather that we are 16,000 people singing together on a Wednesday.
Repertoire spanning solo work and Pereza classics
The setlist opened with 'Bajo presión' and moved through several tracks from his latest album, including 'Ángulo muerto', 'Cortar por la línea de puntos', 'El polvo de los días raros', and the title track 'Gigante'. Leiva interspersed these with solo catalog entries such as 'Terriblemente cruel', 'Superpoderes', 'Sincericidio', and 'Breaking Bad'. Mid-concert, he paid tribute to Robe Iniesta by singing 'El hombre pájaro' and their collaborative track 'Caída libre', leaving the arena in silence. The band later incorporated an adaptation of Chuck Berry's 'You Never Can Tell' using the Spanish interpretation by Santiago Auserón. When transitioning into 'Flecha', Leiva urged the arena to dance.
Dancing rock and roll today is avant-garde.
The concert also drew upon the catalog of Pereza, the pop-rock group that initially brought Leiva commercial prominence. The set featured 'Lady Madrid', 'Estrella polar', and 'Como lo tienes tú', before concluding the evening with 'Princesas'. Leiva had previously removed 'Princesas' from his live sets for 12 years after growing to dislike the composition, but reinstated it for this tour as a gesture toward long-time listeners.

National tour statistics and audience recordings
During the Madrid performance, Leiva asked the crowd to maintain secrecy without filming on mobile devices while he performed his unreleased song 'Palomas de Amazon'. The singer recorded audience backing vocals during the performance, completing a multi-night recording effort conducted across his four Madrid dates at the arena.
