Spanish public broadcaster RTVE aired a frozen frame lasting several minutes after cameras malfunctioned during David Broncano's interview with Carmen Lomana on La Revuelta.

The visual feed failed due to a fiber optic malfunction while host David Broncano was speaking with socialite and businesswoman Carmen Lomana about nobility titles. The image on screen froze entirely for between two and three minutes, showing Lomana holding a stuffed dog on the studio sofa. Studio microphones continued to record the conversation without interruption, leaving the audio intact while the audience and production crew reacted to the technical fault.
The cameras are broken. It is real, it is not a joke. If the audio is recording, I would continue.
Decision to air the unedited footage
La Revuelta is recorded in the afternoon prior to its evening broadcast on La 1, which typically allows production teams to eliminate technical mistakes in post-production. Broncano chose instead to retain the frozen footage in the broadcast version rather than editing out the breakdown. The host compared the static visual with underlying audio to Lomana's radio appearances on COPE, while collaborator Grison jokingly welcomed viewers to the network's new podcast. Director Ricardo Castella also referenced the show's past production history on pay television.

Once video resumed, Lomana answered questions regarding her finances, stating that investments provide enough income to avoid working, while arguing that higher taxes reflect higher earnings. The episode recorded an average of 1,107,000 viewers and a 9.7% audience share on La 1, facing competition from live Champions League football broadcasts.
