A24 releases trailer for Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim documentary on Elizabeth Holmes
A24 has published the full trailer for You Can See Everything, a 174-minute film capturing Elizabeth Holmes's final weeks before prison, ahead of its 16 October release.

A24 released the full-length trailer for You Can See Everything on 23 September 2026, previewing a documentary co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. The 174-minute film follows Fielder as he moves into the home of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and her husband, William Evans. Filmed in secret over three to four years, the project captures the 30 to 34 days leading up to Holmes entering federal custody. Holmes was convicted in January 2022 on four counts of fraud and conspiracy for deceiving investors with claims that Theranos could run comprehensive blood panels from just a few drops of blood. She began serving a federal prison sentence of more than 11 years in May 2023.
On-camera confrontations
The two-and-a-half-minute preview features Fielder conducting deadpan interrogations inside the household. When Fielder asks if she feels she did anything wrong, Holmes maintains her innocence and claims she does not understand how she ended up facing prison. Fielder also questions Evans, an heir to a luxury hotel chain who married Holmes after Theranos collapsed publicly, asking if he feared being scammed for his family wealth. Evans replies that there are many different levels of wealth, while Fielder notes his lingering suspicion that certain truths remain hidden. Holmes insists she has nothing to conceal before speaking about showing vulnerability on camera.

Festival reception and reactions
The documentary made its debut during an unannounced secret screening at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado earlier in September 2026. Oppenheim, who also directed the film Primetime, partnered with Fielder on the project as it examined the family dynamic before Holmes reported to prison. During a post-screening discussion at the festival, Fielder addressed his unresolved impressions of the filming process.
I really am struggling to this day to understand exactly what I experienced. And one of the things I'm genuinely excited about is for this movie to come out and for people to help me understand what I experienced. Truly, to this day, I don't quite know what I went through.
You Can See Everything will make its next festival appearance at the New York Film Festival on 30 September 2026 as part of the Spotlight program.

A24 set the official theatrical premiere for 16 October 2026, with advance tickets on sale in select locations and nationwide ticket availability opening on 1 October 2026. The production follows previous media accounts of the Theranos scandal, including Alex Gibney's 2019 documentary The Inventor and the Hulu drama series The Dropout. Before reporting to prison, Holmes spent a year filing appeals for a new trial, requested that President Donald Trump commute her sentence, and sought ways to delay incarceration. The Fielder and Oppenheim documentary captures her final weeks of freedom before entering federal prison, where she remains unable to speak publicly at length.
