Cyberleek leaks 25-minute GTA VI gameplay video with nudity and story spoilers
The 25-minute video, posted on 8 October 2026, shows co-protagonist Jason naked through much of the footage. Rockstar is taking it down, and the leaker's X accounts and website have been suspended.
The video
Cyberleek, the unidentified person or group behind a series of GTA VI leaks, released a 25-minute gameplay video on 8 October 2026. Gizmodo calls it the most extensive video so far, with cutscenes, gameplay and co-protagonist Jason shown running around without clothes. Lucia appears in a clip at the end of the video, where she is topless. Citing Kotaku, The Verge reports that Jason is naked through almost the whole video, including while riding a motorbike and talking to other characters. The footage also includes offroad races at the Thrillbilly Mud Club, described as part of Jason and Lucia's date, along with vehicle tuning for performance, gearbox, engine and nitrous oxide. Story spoilers are included, and the footage suggests the game is fully playable with Jason unclothed.
Earlier leaks and the release date
Cyberleek published earlier leaks in late August 2026, based on early versions of the game. Those clips lasted a few minutes at most and showed locations and fragments that the community chose through paid votes. Netflix officially announced the game at the end of that same month, after which the leaks went quiet for more than a month. The Verge says the leaker cashed out on a memecoin and seemingly disappeared earlier this year before returning with this video. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on 19 November 2026, and physical copies will come as "code in a box" without actual discs.

Takedowns and copycats
The leaker's X accounts and the website previously used for the leaks have been suspended, and Rockstar is taking the video down. The Verge reports that Rockstar called the leaks "heartbreaking" and that Take-Two has requested multiple subpoenas to find the "alleged infringers" behind the footage. At least one other account claiming to be Cyberleek remains active, and it is impossible to tell which accounts are genuine. That account repeats the claim that the leaks protest the demise of physical media, and the cover image of the video reads:
We do not own the games, if they do not give us physical editions.
The same account invites supporters to buy a memecoin on pump.fun. The video ends with a title card that outlines Cyberleek's philosophy, and it can still be found through a basic search.
What remains unclear
Engadget considers it highly plausible that the footage comes from an earlier build of the game, and the company's legal team is likely to pursue more takedowns. Jason's appearance changes in one part of the video, and it is hard to say whether this reflects a newer version or a recording made at another time. His body is covered in many tattoos on the arms, which suggests character customization beyond clothing and hair. The scene in which the characters appear in so-called Adam and Eve outfits has caused significant controversy. Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on 19 November 2026.
