YouTuber Greg Guillotin admits to domestic violence following legal complaint by former partner

French content creator Greg Guillotin acknowledged committing physical and psychological abuse against his former partner after she filed a formal complaint with prosecutors in Évry detailing incidents between 2019 and 2026.

Public admission of abuse

French YouTuber and comedian Greg Guillotin, whose YouTube channel counts approximately 4.5 million subscribers, publicly admitted on Saturday, 5 September 2026, to having engaged in physical and psychological violence against his former partner. The 43-year-old content creator, known for producing hidden-camera videos, issued a press statement in response to legal action initiated against him. In the statement, Guillotin stated that he would not contest or justify the accusations, expressing remorse for his actions during their seven-year relationship.

Mon ancienne compagne a déposé plainte contre moi pour des violences physiques et psychologiques. Elle les a subies. Je ne vais ni les nier, ni chercher à les justifier. J'ai honte

— Greg Guillotin

Guillotin added that he had sought psychiatric support prior to their separation and subsequently consulted a psychologist specialized in working with perpetrators of domestic violence. He pledged full cooperation with judicial authorities.

Allegations in the legal complaint

The complainant, now 27 years old, met Guillotin on social media when she was 19 and he was 35. On 17 June 2026, she lodged a criminal complaint with the public prosecutor at the judicial court of Évry in the Essonne department. The filing details repeated physical abuse, insults, psychological manipulation, and coercive control between 2019 and 2026. Her lawyer, Jean-Baptiste Riolacci, stated that she provided concrete evidence to prosecutors to support her claims.

Ma cliente a fait preuve d'un grand courage en dénonçant des années de coups, d'insultes et de dénigrement de la part de son ancien compagnon, rencontré sur les réseaux sociaux alors qu'elle n'avait que 19 ans et lui 35.

— Jean-Baptiste Riolacci

According to the complaint documents reviewed by Agence France-Presse, the first physical blows occurred in April 2022 at the couple's residence in the Paris suburbs. The document describes several subsequent assaults over the course of their relationship, including a kick during a trip to the Maldives in December 2022, a slap and kicks during a journey to Morocco in 2023, and a punch to the eye in 2024.

Surveillance and judicial status

The complaint also describes continuous domestic surveillance inside the couple's home. During the year prior to their separation, Guillotin had cameras installed throughout the residence under the stated reason of monitoring a contractor performing repair work. According to the complaint, the system was instead used to track his partner's movements and reprimand her if she rested, delayed answering text messages, or failed to complete household tasks. During the 2023 trip to Morocco, the complaint notes that Guillotin threw a cereal bowl at her face, struck her, and falsely claimed he had cancelled her return flight ticket.

The public prosecutor's office in Évry confirmed that no investigative agency had been assigned to the case at the time of the public disclosure. Guillotin concluded his press statement by apologizing directly to his former partner.

Pendant des années, j'ai fait rire des millions de gens. Chez moi, à plusieurs reprises, j'ai aussi été violent avec la personne qui partageait ma vie
