Polansky, a 42-year-old businessman, accompanied her dressed in black shorts, a sweatshirt, a cap, and flip-flops. The couple kept the pregnancy entirely out of the public spotlight throughout recent months. Neither the name, the sex, nor the exact date of birth of the infant has been publicly disclosed, and representatives for the couple did not respond to requests for comment.

Relationship history and engagement

The couple confirmed their relationship in early 2020 through posts on Instagram after meeting in late 2019. They spent extended periods together during the coronavirus pandemic, which brought them closer. Gaga later described Polansky as the love of her life in media interviews. In the spring of 2024, the two became engaged after Polansky proposed following a rock climbing trip, a detail the singer recounted during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. During a television appearance on Good Morning America in March 2025, Gaga explained that family planning was an explicit priority from the very beginning of their courtship.

She attended an event at The Grove shopping complex in Los Angeles in May 2026, and she was seen taking a photograph with a fan in Northern California in August 2026.

Gaga spoke openly in recent years about her long-standing desire to step away from constant performing to raise a family. She discussed having maternal feelings connected to her fanbase, who colloquially refer to her as Mother Monster, but emphasized that personal motherhood remained her ultimate life objective. In an October 2025 conversation on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she described raising children as her principal ambition for the future.

I would like to do many things. All those possibilities are open. But what I really want is to be a mother. I hope this will be my next leading role.
