
One 24-year-old killed and another seriously injured in Parla knife attack

Resuscitation efforts and medical evacuation
Medical staff from SUMMA112 immediately attended to the first 24-year-old victim, who had sustained a deep incised wound across his neck. The severe hemorrhage had driven the young man into cardiorespiratory arrest prior to the arrival of medical teams. The specialized medical crew initiated advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocols, maintaining chest compressions and resuscitation procedures for 40 minutes on the street. Despite the extended intervention, the resuscitation team could not reverse the cardiac arrest, and the attending medical personnel confirmed the young man's death at the location.
The medical team simultaneously provided urgent medical care to the second victim, another 24-year-old man identified as a friend of the deceased. This second victim had suffered a knife wound penetrating the left side of his chest area. After stabilizing the wound and assessing his vital functions at the scene, SUMMA112 transported him in an emergency ambulance to the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital in Majadahonda. Medical staff categorized his clinical status as potentially serious upon admission to the hospital facility.
