Romania's 2026 Bacalaureat results released early as grading wraps up
High school graduates across Romania are checking their Bacalaureat 2026 results today after the education ministry confirmed grading is complete and results may appear before the official Tuesday noon deadline.
Romanian high school graduates who sat the written Bacalaureat exams last week are receiving their results today, 6 July 2026. State secretary in the Ministry of Education Sorin Ion announced on Monday that all papers have been graded and that results could be posted earlier than the official deadline of Tuesday at 12:00. The National Evaluation results earlier this summer were also released a day early, on 30 June instead of 1 July.
Results are available on the edu.ro platform in the Bacalaureat 2026 section, on county school inspectorate websites, and on physical notice boards at the schools where exams were held. Since 2020, results have been anonymized to comply with EU data protection rules. Each candidate received a unique code at their first exam, which they now use to look up their grades.
The communication of results obtained in the national Bacalaureat exam is done anonymously, using individual codes that replace the candidates' first and last names, and which were distributed to candidates upon signature at the first exam they took.
The published lists include the candidate's code, school, county, promotion, education form, specialization, grades for each written exam, final average, and a status such as passed, failed, absent, or eliminated.
