CSU calls for armaments agreement with Kyiv: Ukraine's drone technology in exchange for continued support
Alexander Hoffmann, chairman of the CSU-Landesgruppe, proposes an official defense agreement linking ongoing German aid to technological cooperation on drones and cruise missiles.
Ahead of the CSU regional group's retreat, chairman Alexander Hoffmann called for an armaments agreement with Ukraine. He told "Bild am Sonntag" that Ukraine should share its drone technology, saying Germany needs a "support dividend" from Kyiv. Germany will continue aid under all circumstances, but Hoffmann noted that Ukraine has developed "truly outstanding capabilities, in drones, drone defense, and cruise missiles."
