Italian television presenter Ilary Blasi and German entrepreneur Bastian Muller will marry on Sunday afternoon, 13 September 2026, in the coastal town of Ravello. The couple arrived in the municipality on Saturday shortly after 18:25 in a grey Mercedes G-Class bearing German license plates. A second vehicle, a Mercedes A-Class driven by Blasi's son Cristian Totti with his sister Chanel Totti as passenger, followed behind. The vehicles stopped at Largo Boccaccio at the boundary of the pedestrian zone. From there, Blasi and Muller walked through the town center hand in hand with Blasi's ten-year-old daughter Isabel Totti. The pair wore casual attire for the walk, with Blasi wearing a white t-shirt, loose black trousers, and a green hat, while Muller wore a white t-shirt and knee-length shorts before heading to Villa Cimbrone for the night.

Ceremony plans and guest arrangements

The couple will hold their civil ceremony on Sunday through the municipality of Ravello, with Palazzo Tolla, the town hall, considered a likely setting. The wedding reception will follow in the gardens of Villa Cimbrone, an estate situated on the Amalfi Coast that previously hosted the wedding of Alessandro Nesta and Gabriela Pagnozzi in 2007. Most attendees are scheduled to arrive in Ravello late Sunday morning. The guest list remains restricted, with source estimates indicating between 50 and 80 invitees. Confirmed attendees include Muller's relatives travelling from Germany, as well as Blasi's sisters and children. Event organisers have required non-disclosure agreements from service providers, while potential celebrity attendees include Michelle Hunziker, Silvia Toffanin, Cesara Buonamici, and Selvaggia Lucarelli.

Evolution of the relationship

The wedding follows a relationship that began in November 2022, four months after Blasi announced her separation from former footballer Francesco Totti. The two first met in the lounge of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York while waiting for a flight to Rome. Blasi later described the encounter during an interview:

He waited for me outside the restroom, introduced himself, and then instead of asking for my number, he asked what my Instagram profile was.

The couple met again in December 2022 during a ski trip to St. Moritz accompanied by Isabel Totti and television host Michelle Hunziker. They made their relationship public on social media in January 2023 during a weekend trip to Paris, two months before Blasi attended her first judicial separation hearing on 31 March 2023.

Privacy focus versus previous wedding

The private format chosen for Sunday's nuptials differs from Blasi's previous wedding to Francesco Totti on 19 June 2005, which was broadcast live on national television. For the ceremony in Ravello, the couple has chosen an unpublicised civil service without television cameras or public broadcasts.
