The result earned Benfica its fourth Supertaça Feminina, moving ahead of Sporting CP (three titles) as the most successful club in the competition's history and securing its first Super Cup victory since 2023. Managers assess performance and refereeing
FC Porto manager Daniel Chaves questioned the VAR decision that annulled Morgan Stone's opening goal, arguing that the offside line was misaligned. He expressed pride in his players' defensive structure until the third goal while noting that physical fatigue and morale dropped after Benfica's fourth goal.

Both clubs now prepare for the start of the Liga BPI on September 12, when FC Porto faces Valadares de Gaia at 17:00 and Benfica opens its campaign against Racing Power FC at 20:30.
