Four Athens metro stations close early from Sunday for rail replacement works
Line 3 stations Megaro Mousikis to Katehaki will shut daily at 21:40, 2.5 hours early, from 28 June until Thursday, splitting service. A temporary bus line will cover the gap, with airport trains rerouted via Ethniki Amyna.

Starting Sunday, 28 June 2026, and every Sunday to Thursday thereafter, four stations on Line 3, Megaro Mousikis, Ambelokipoi, Panormou, and Katehaki, will close at 21:40, approximately two and a half hours earlier than usual. The early closure is needed for rail replacement works between Megaro Mousikis and Katehaki.
