China's All Gamers win 2026 Esports World Cup in Paris, taking $7 million prize
Chinese esports team All Gamers secured the 2026 Esports World Cup in Paris on Sunday after seven weeks of competition across 24 video games, ending Team Falcons' two-year reign.
Championship finale at the Grand Palais
Chinese esports organization All Gamers won the third edition of the Esports World Cup on Sunday, 23 August 2026, concluding seven weeks of international competition in Paris. The multi-game championship brought together clubs competing across various gaming titles to decide the global club champion. French President Emmanuel Macron attended the tournament's closing ceremony, which was held at the Grand Palais in the French capital. The ceremony at the Grand Palais marked the formal conclusion of the Paris event following nearly two months of daily fixtures. All Gamers finished at the top of the overall aggregate standings, securing the club's first world championship title at the event.
Decisive Trackmania victory and prize purse
The ultimate outcome of the multi-game championship was decided during the final matches on the racing title Trackmania. French player Gwendal Duparc, who competes under the alias Gwen, claimed first place in the Trackmania competition to deliver the title to his club. Duparc's victory on the virtual track provided the decisive points needed to push All Gamers to the top of the overall standings. By clinching the club title at the close of the competition, All Gamers earned a cash prize of seven million dollars. In European currency, the winnings equal a little under six million euros, marking the top payout of the tournament for the winning organization.
Dethroning Team Falcons and final standings
The victory by All Gamers ended the winning streak of Saudi Arabian organization Team Falcons, who entered the competition as two-time defending champions. Team Falcons had won the first two editions of the global tournament but fell short of retaining their title in Paris. French organization Team Vitality rounded out the podium by taking third place, repeating the exact placement they achieved during the 2025 edition of the tournament. Across the seven-week event, the tournament gathered more than 2,000 professional players representing approximately 200 clubs from around the world. Teams competed against each other across 24 different video game titles to accumulate points toward the final club trophy.
Saudi backing and planned return to Riyadh
- Inaugural tournament founded and held in Saudi Arabia with sovereign fund backing
- Second edition held in Saudi Arabia, won by Team Falcons
- Organizers announce relocation of the 2026 edition to Paris due to Middle East war
- All Gamers win third edition at Grand Palais in Paris
- Fourth edition scheduled to return to Riyadh
Created in 2024, the Esports World Cup is funded by the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia. The tournament has established itself as a primary fixture on the global competitive gaming calendar since its launch. Saudi Arabia has emerged over recent years as a central investor and operator in the worldwide esports sector. While the first two editions took place in Saudi Arabia, organizers announced in May 2026 that the third edition would relocate to Paris due to the war in the Middle East. Following the conclusion of the 2026 matches in France, the competition is expected to head back to the Gulf region. The fourth edition of the Esports World Cup is scheduled to take place in Riyadh in 2027.
