According to findings from the police investigation, the adult driver executed deliberate and dangerous maneuvers, attempting to run down the two 15-year-olds with the car. Concurrently, the minor co-driver reached out to inflict further bodily harm on one of the boys during the vehicular approach. As the perpetrators fled the area, they shouted verbal threats at the victims, telling the teenagers that they would return to finish them off. A close relative of Marios described the severity of the incident to regional media outlet tempo24.
They almost killed our children. These guys are dangerous.

Emergency services subsequently coordinated the transfer of the injured 15-year-old to the Karamandaneio Children's Hospital in the neighbouring city of Patras. Medical staff at the paediatric facility treated the teenager for superficial pocketknife lacerations and contusions, providing first aid before discharging him into the care of his family. The victims experienced severe shock following the daytime assault. Police records showed that both suspects were already known to law enforcement for their prior involvement in similar violent attacks in the local area.
