Polish seasonal worker collapses and dies while harvesting zucchini in Belgian heat wave

A 50-year-old Polish seasonal worker collapsed and died on a farm in Zonnebeke, West Flanders, while harvesting zucchini on Friday. Labour inspectorate has suspended field work and launched an investigation into whether extreme heat caused the death.
