Worker, 56, crushed to death in industrial washing machine at Sindos plant near Thessaloniki

A 56-year-old woman died after becoming trapped in an industrial washing machine at a laundry facility in the Sindos Industrial Area early on Saturday, 13 June 2026. Firefighters extracted her, but she was pronounced dead later at hospital.
