    Person on tracks in Madrid's Atocha-Chamartín tunnel halts high-speed trains to Levante for nearly an hour

    Adif halted all high-speed rail traffic between Madrid and the Levante region on Monday morning after a person was spotted near the tracks inside the Atocha-Chamartín tunnel. Service resumed around 11:00, but knock-on delays are expected throughout the day.
