Fire at scrap metal depot in Port of Agigea triggers RO-Alert smoke warning; no casualties reported

A fire broke out Sunday morning at a scrap metal and waste depot in Romania’s Port of Agigea, sending plumes of smoke over the nearby town. Authorities issued a RO-Alert at 6:55 AM but said there is no danger of the blaze spreading and no evacuations are needed.
