Storms batter Poland overnight, over 2,600 firefighter interventions; new rain front approaches
Severe thunderstorms with torrential rain, hail, and strong winds swept across Poland on the night of 1-2 July, triggering more than 2,600 emergency responses and causing widespread flooding, roof damage, and power outages. A rain front is forecast to enter the country Thursday evening.
