
Three dead after head-on collision with truck on B12 in Bavaria
A family of three, including a toddler, died early Saturday when their car collided head-on with a truck on the B12 highway in Upper Bavaria.
A two‑year‑old child and both parents were killed early on Saturday morning when their car hit a semi‑trailer truck head‑on on the B12 federal highway in the Altötting district of Upper Bavaria. The family was on its way to Munich when the crash occurred shortly after 5 a.m. between the towns of Stammham and Marktl. The truck driver suffered shock but was physically unharmed.

All three occupants of the car died at the scene. The victims were a 46‑year‑old man, a 44‑year‑old woman and their two‑year‑old child. A police spokesperson in Rosenheim confirmed that the deceased were the father, mother and their toddler. The family lived in Munich.
