Emergency response

In Castellón, two SAMU units, two basic life support ambulances and one advanced nursing unit were mobilised. The injured were triaged on site and transferred in the hours that followed. In Málaga, the 061 emergency coordination centre confirmed the fatalities after securing the ravine area.

Source discrepancies

A report by La Razón, citing the Traffic Management Centre, stated that only five people were injured in the Castellón crash, not six. The other three outlets (20 minutos, Europa Press and El Mundo) all report six injured, in agreement on total casualties of seven dead and seven injured across both incidents.
