Two wagons of a freight train fell roughly five metres from a bridge onto Schleißheimer Straße in the Milbertshofen district of Munich during the night. The accident occurred while the train was performing a shunting movement, though the exact cause remains unknown.
Injuries and cargo
A police spokesman confirmed to the dpa news agency that one person was critically injured. Earlier, Bild newspaper had reported the life-threatening injury. Officials stated the train was not carrying hazardous materials and there was no danger to the wider public.
