The incident
On Monday evening, 16 June, around 9 p.m., two motorcycle riders got into a violent altercation at the intersection of Konstantinoupoleos and Agiou Meletiou streets in the Kolonos district of Athens. Tensions flared over which rider had the right-of-way.
Escalation to physical fight
