Ballistic strikes hit Kyiv warehouse

Russian ballistic missile strikes struck targets in Ukraine overnight, causing explosions in the capital city of Kyiv and in the southern region of Mykolaiv. The Kyiv Military Administration stated that an incoming missile hit a commercial warehouse situated in the capital's Darnytskyi district. The impact ignited an immediate fire within the facility, leaving one person dead and several others wounded. Municipal rescue services and emergency teams deployed to the scene to extinguish the blaze and begin clearing rubble from the site. Local authorities launched damage verification procedures to assess structural destruction across the impacted area.

Fatalities and child casualties in Mykolaiv

In the southern region of Mykolaiv, Russian strikes caused four fatalities during the nighttime attack. Three of the victims who lost their lives were children, marking the majority of the casualties in the southern strike. Ukrainian Interior Minister Ivan Vohivski confirmed the casualties in a public statement published on his official Telegram channel. Vohivski reported that preliminary data identified two of the deceased children as 11-year-olds, while the third child was 12 years old. Emergency medical personnel and local rescue services were dispatched immediately to the affected areas to attend to victims and assess the surrounding perimeter.
