In the Baix Camp area, cable theft between Vila-seca and Reus disrupted rail traffic on the line connecting Tarragona and Reus, requiring separate repair operations by Adif personnel.

The railway disruption occurred as severe weather alerts took effect across Catalonia due to forecasts of torrential rain and storm conditions.
