Forensic examination and public appeals

A Garda Technical Bureau van and a patrol car remained stationed at the entrance of the building into late Friday evening as forensic officers gathered evidence. Detectives carried out door to door inquiries with occupants of the complex and neighbouring residents to determine if anyone observed or heard anything unusual over the previous 24 hours.
Gardaí also initiated a harvest of closed-circuit television recordings from the apartment complex and adjacent streets to track all movements to and from the building. In addition, officers appealed to motorists with dash-cam equipment who travelled through the area between Thursday night and Friday morning to contact investigators.
Official response and autopsy
A Garda spokesperson confirmed the ongoing technical examination and outlined the scope of the inquiry on Friday.

Garda sources confirmed that the findings of the scheduled post-mortem examination will formally determine the nature and course of the investigation.
Tributes from family and community
Pereira Rosa was originally from Sorocaba, a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, and had lived in Limerick for several years. Following the announcement of her death, friends and members of the local community shared photographs, videos, and tributes online. Her brother, speaking from Brazil, noted that she had moved to Europe to pursue her goals and consistently supported her family at home.
We are still in shock about what is happening. I never imagined that I would have to go through such an ordeal.
Her brother also stated that she dedicated herself to her family in Brazil throughout her time residing in Ireland.
She always helped everyone who was here in Brazil as much as she could. She never spared any effort to make my mother happy. She will be missed forever. Unfortunately, we didn't even get the chance to say goodbye.
