Geolier becomes first Italian music artist to receive a Google Easter egg as sold-out Naples tour kicks off
The Neapolitan rapper’s search results animate with glasses, a cap and a microphone, coinciding with three consecutive sold-out shows at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The Easter egg launch
On 26 June 2026, Google activated a month‑long Easter egg for Italian rapper Geolier, making him the first music artist from Italy to receive a hidden Search animation. Typing his name triggers a rain of visual symbols tied to his artistic universe: a pair of glasses, a cap marked with the letter G and a microphone. The effect will remain live for one month, turning a routine query into a small digital event.
Sold‑out Naples stadium run
The tribute arrives during the final leg of his stadium tour. Geolier is playing three consecutive sold‑out concerts at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples on 26, 27 and 28 June. Across the three nights, 150,000 spectators will attend, according to Il Fatto Quotidiano. Earlier stops on the tour included San Siro in Milan, the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and Messina’s Stadio Franco Scoglio.

A rare cultural nod
Google Easter eggs are reserved for moments of strong cultural impact. Past examples include a playable Pac‑Man inside search results, a spinning page triggered by “do a barrel roll,” and a fungus icon for The Last of Us. Dedicating one to an Italian‑language rapper signals the platform’s recognition of his influence on contemporary digital culture.
Tools for the concert season
Google also highlighted a set of AI‑powered features designed for festival and concert goers. Circle to Search lets users identify and shop for clothing spotted on social media. Google Lens offers real‑time translation of song lyrics. AI Mode helps plan an entire evening, transport, parking, show duration and setlist, via a single conversation. Search Live combines voice and camera to deliver food and venue recommendations from what the user sees around them.
