    Doctor earned 1,633 zł per hour at loss-making hospital as ministry proposes pay caps

    A county hospital in Ostróda, northern Poland, paid one doctor 91,462 zł for 56 hours in April while carrying 17 million zł in accumulated losses. The health ministry has now proposed a 240 zł hourly cap and a 76,800 zł monthly ceiling for publicly funded medics.
