Dave De Kock pleaded guilty on Thursday to murdering four-year-old Dean Verberckmoes at the Ghent assize court, but his lawyers contest the kidnapping charge. His former partner Romy Wuytack maintains her innocence, and the court hopes to deliver a verdict on 19 October.
