Szymon Giżyński, a long-time Law and Justice (PiS) MP, announced his transfer to the newly registered Rozwój Plus club on Friday, becoming the 41st member of the parliamentary group led by former prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The move follows weeks of tension within PiS over an ultimatum demanding MPs distance themselves from political associations.
