Polish YouTuber Stuu Charged with Underage Sexual Offenses Following Extradition from Britain
Warsaw prosecutors formally presented four criminal charges to internet creator Stuart K.-B., known as Stuu, following his extradition from the United Kingdom.
Interrogation in Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Metropolitan Police escorted 34-year-old internet creator Stuart K.-B., known online as Stuu, from the Warsaw-Białołęka Remand Prison to the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw on Wednesday, 19 August 2026. The interrogation began at 11:00 in the presence of two of his three defense attorneys. During the proceedings, prosecutors formally presented charges stemming from the 2023 online abuse inquiry known as Pandora Gate. The suspect pleaded not guilty to all allegations and refused to provide formal explanations to investigators. Piotr Antoni Skiba, spokesperson for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, stated that the suspect indicated he would provide a statement only after reviewing the complete case file.
The suspect did not plead guilty to the alleged acts, refused to provide explanations, and stated that he would provide explanations after reviewing the entirety of the evidentiary material.
The charges and legal penalties
The prosecution presented four specific charges concerning actions allegedly committed between August 2015 and August 2018. Two charges involve Article 208 of the Polish Penal Code for encouraging minors to consume alcohol, which carries penalties ranging from a fine to two years in prison. The remaining two charges involve other sexual acts committed against minors under the age of 15, specifically dating to the summer of 2015 and August 2018. Under the legal provisions in force during the period of the alleged offenses, the sexual charges carry a prison sentence of two to 12 years. Although current Polish law sets a maximum penalty of 15 years for such offenses, Polish legal standards require the application of the more lenient statute in effect at the time of the alleged acts.
Those acts that are the most serious, namely sexual acts to the detriment of minors under the age of 15, at the time they occurred, carried a penalty of deprivation of liberty from two to 12 years.

Extradition and procedural timeline
The case stems from the Pandora Gate controversy, which emerged in autumn 2023 after influencer Sylwester Wardęga published video material detailing allegations of illicit contacts between Polish internet personalities and minors. Warsaw prosecutors issued a formal decision to press charges in October 2023, initiating an international search through an Interpol red notice and a European Arrest Warrant. Stuart K.-B., who holds dual Polish and British citizenship, was detained in the United Kingdom in October 2023. A British court approved his extradition in February 2025, but the creator appealed the ruling, asserting that the Polish warrant followed political pressure from then-Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. A British court dismissed the appeal in mid-July 2026, and authorities transported him to Warsaw on 14 August 2026.

Next steps in the investigation
Prosecutors submitted an application on Wednesday to the Warsaw Mokotów District Court to maintain the pre-trial detention order in place since October 2024. The district court scheduled a hearing on the detention request for Thursday, 20 August 2026. During the interrogation, the suspect answered questions from his defense counsel exclusively on formal matters regarding continued detention rather than the substance of the charges. Investigators plan to subject Stuart K.-B. to court-ordered psychiatric and sexological evaluations as the inquiry proceeds. Skiba stated that certain peripheral threads within the Warsaw district were discontinued due to insufficient documentation, while other evidence was separated into distinct proceedings to maintain investigative focus.
