
Getafe sign Ramón Terrats on permanent deal from Villarreal through 2029
Getafe announced the signing of midfielder Ramón Terrats from Villarreal on a three-year contract, securing a player who impressed during a previous loan spell.
A familiar face returns
Getafe CF announced on 8 July 2026 the permanent signing of Catalan midfielder Ramón Terrats, who returns to the club after a successful loan spell in the 2024-25 season. A product of the CF Damm youth academy, Terrats later played for Sant Andreu and Girona, where he contributed to the club's promotion to the top flight. He then moved to Villarreal in 2022-23 before enjoying a productive half-season on loan at Getafe. In that initial stint he scored four goals and provided one assist in 16 matches. Contract and transfer details
Terrats has signed a contract that runs until 30 June 2029. The transfer fee paid to Villarreal is reported at between €2.5 million and €3 million. Last season he spent on loan at Espanyol, making 31 official appearances and contributing one goal and two assists, but the Barcelona-based club did not exercise its purchase option. After returning to Villarreal, Getafe negotiated a permanent move for the midfielder.
