Harry Styles breaks Wembley records with 12 sold-out shows, pays tribute to One Direction bandmates
Harry Styles concluded a record-breaking 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, surpassing Coldplay and Taylor Swift for most shows at the venue in a single year. The final concert drew 80,000 fans and featured tributes to his One Direction bandmates.
Record-breaking residency
Harry Styles wrapped up his 12-show run at London's Wembley Stadium on 4 July, setting a new benchmark for the iconic venue. The concerts, part of his Together, Together tour, began on 12 June and were all sold out, with each night drawing around 80,000 attendees. The stint surpasses Coldplay's 10-night run last summer and Taylor Swift's eight shows in 2024, making Styles the artist with the most concerts at Wembley in a single year and the longest solo residency there.

Emotional One Direction tribute
During the last concert, Styles paused to thank his former One Direction bandmates, acknowledging their role in his career.
I wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey. I wanna thank Niall, Louis, Zayn and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything... none of this would be possible, I wouldn't be here without you, thank you so much.
One Direction formed on The X Factor in 2010 and went on hiatus in 2016. Former member Liam Payne died in 2024 at age 31. Styles reflected on the 16 years since his audition, which took place just outside Wembley.
A family surprise
Styles' older sister Gemma made an unexpected appearance on stage, admitting she usually avoids the spotlight.
My little brother is about to finish a record-breaking 12-night run... I'm so proud of you, and not just because of this. I'm proud of who you are, and who you allow other people to be, and the impact you've made on so many.
She recalled dropping him at his first X Factor audition and thanked fans for their support over the years. Styles, visibly moved, hugged her and asked the crowd to applaud.
What's next
Styles launched his solo career in 2017 and has since won six Brit Awards, three Grammys and two Ivor Novello Awards. His fourth album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, was released in January. The Together, Together tour now moves to Brazil, Mexico and the United States, concluding in Australia in December.
