She stated that when a political organization fails to show conviction in its own record and governance work, the electorate inevitably responds with skepticism at the polling stations.
That was not done in the campaign. And then you naturally get a receipt too. If you do not believe in it yourself, then voters do not believe in it either. That is just how it is.
Spranger characterized the electoral outcome as an inevitable receipt handed to the party for running a campaign that lacked self-belief. Her evaluation concluded that candidate conviction remains decisive for winning voter trust in Berlin elections.
