Otomoto presents Faktor E report on electric vehicle trends at Katowice mobility congress
At the New Mobility Congress 2026 in Katowice, Otomoto released its Faktor E study covering ten European markets, noting a 22% annual rise in Polish electric vehicle registrations.
At the New Mobility Congress 2026 in Katowice, automotive platform OTOMOTO presented findings on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and driver behavior in the automotive sector. The congress gathered representatives from business, public administration, science, and industry organizations to address new technologies, investments, and European economic competitiveness.
A central component of OTOMOTO's participation was the release of the second edition of its report, "Faktor E 2026: Electromobility Impulses among Drivers in Europe and Poland." Agnieszka Czajka, Vice President Motors Professionals Europe at OLX Group / OTOMOTO, presented data from the study across ten European markets. The report examined market shifts projected through 2035, noting that drivers increasingly focus on practical matters such as charging availability, battery condition and replacement costs, warranties, and vehicle resale value.
In Poland, market growth is reflected in registration and infrastructure figures. During the first half of 2026, the volume of registered passenger and commercial battery electric vehicles (BEVs) increased by 22% year-on-year, with 13,201 publicly accessible charging points operating by the end of June. Practical challenges persist among consumers: 47% of surveyed Polish drivers reported having no charging access where they most frequently park, while 52% stated that trusted battery certification is very important when purchasing a used electric vehicle.
