Club career and scoring record in Liga MX
González was born on 20 April 2003 in Celaya and spent his formative development years within the youth academy system at Guadalajara. He earned promotion to the senior squad and made his official first-team debut in January 2024. Over the course of the Apertura 2025 and Clausura 2026 seasons, the striker scored 24 goals for Chivas across all domestic competitions. In the Apertura 2025 tournament alone, he captured the league top scorer award after finding the net 12 times.
The move to Piraeus represents the first foreign club transfer of the forward's professional career. Olympiacos integrated the striker into their attacking lineup following the confirmed departure of forward Mehdi Taremi.
