Arena ceremony in Milan
On Saturday, 5 September 2026, Italian creators Luigi Calagna, 33, and Sofia Scalia, 29, known online as Me contro Te, married in a public arena ceremony in Milan. The event took place at the Unipol Arena (also known as the Unipol Dome in Santa Giulia) before approximately 6,000 paying spectators, filling the arena stands to capacity. An official from the Municipality of Milan officiated the civil ceremony on stage. The couple, originally from Palermo and now based in Milan, had originally scheduled the wedding a year earlier but chose to postpone the event so their fanbase could attend.
Stage proceedings and marriage vows
Calagna walked onto the stage first, singing a serenade to Scalia that addressed ongoing speculation regarding their relationship with the words: "We do not care at all about people. You and I know it will be forever." Following Scalia's entrance, the civil official conducted the formal proceedings. Family members watched from the front rows while the couple's witnesses joined them on stage to read personal reflections that moved the duo to tears. Cousins and nephews brought the wedding rings to the stage prior to the exchange of vows.
Calagna read his marriage vow directly to Scalia on stage.
If we got here, it is not because everything was easy, but because we decided to continue loving each other even in difficult moments. I would do everything again in exactly the same way because, for me, the most beautiful gift has always been you.
Scalia then delivered her own promise before they completed the ring exchange.
When I think back to the beginning of our story, I get chills. I was only 15 years old, but with you I always knew I had met someone who would stay. We grew up side by side. You take care of me without making noise.
Commercial structure and ticket packages
The ceremony adopted the structure of a live entertainment production, complete with dancers, bridesmaids, and figures from the duo's creative universe. Rather than handing out customary wedding favors (bomboniere), organizers offered event merchandise for purchase inside the venue. Standard ticket prices began at 48 euros and reached 110 euros, while a family ticket package for four people cost 312 euros. A dedicated Meet and Greet package cost 250 euros per person, granting ticket holders a direct greeting and photo opportunity with the creators.
